Jesus the light of the world

The light shines in the darkness and the darkness can not extinguish it.

Many people and events conspired to try to extinguish Jesus' light but failed.

• Herod - just after his birth as he ordered the slaughter of the newborns in Bethlehem.

• The Devil - Testing Jesus in the desert suggested that Jesus throw himself off the temple at Jerusalem and angels his angels would catch him.

• The cross - Many people believed they had suceeded in killing Jesus on the cross.

• Tomb - Again people thought this would be Jesus' final resting place, but he proved everyone wrong by rising from the dead.

Also many christians later suffered and people tried to extinguish Jesus' light from their lives but failed.

Nothing can extinguish your light if you believe in Jesus.
