Our Hall has stood nearly as long as our church. It has undergone major refurbishment recently and has had many positive endorsements from people who have used it.
It has been hired out to all manner of occasions-birthday parties, wedding celebrations, office presentations and away days, karate and Pilates schools, dancing troupes, band practice, henna parties, jumble sales and celebratory meals catering for up to 120 people.
Briefly the hall comprises of a large hall (approx. 25m x 15m), a small hall encompassing a small kitchen and washroom (approx 15m x 10m), an elevated stage with lighting and male and female cloakrooms.
The Alzheimer’s Society uses Christ Church Hall on a monthly basis to provide a dementia café to people affected by dementia. The venue is spacious, bright and welcoming, situated within the local community.

I use the hall for a weekly Pilates class on a Thursday morning. It is a great community facility, always clean and tidy, and staff are always helpful and friendly. It’s a pleasure to be associated with the hall.

As a committee member of "Life Long Singers" we are very pleased with the hire of the small hall which we use for our rehearsals. We have made use of the premises for about twenty years, and we have always felt that the room that we have used has always been clean and warm The small kitchen adjoining the room is also a most useful addition that adds to the comfort of our sessions. Whilst writing this review, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Christchurch for making us feel welcome in using the facilities.

I have run a small Karate Club at the Hall for several years and have found the facilities very good.
We now have a good cross section of the community practising Karate, including six multi cultural junior members from varying denominations, who come to enjoy our lessons in the hall.

There is also a disabled cloakroom with baby changing facilities. The main kitchen has ample workspace, a large serving hatch and is spacious and modern. The hall has ramps at one entrance for easy access and is fully centrally heated and the hire fee gives access to many large and small tables and 120 chairs.
There is a small carpark attached to the hall catering for ten cars which comes in handy for loading and offloading.
